The Australian Kyudo Association ('AKA') celebrates its 10th Anniversary in 2024 and is hosting the 2nd National Taikai and a 2-day Kyudo Seminar across Friday, 9 August to Sunday, 11 August 2024. The event is hosted by the AKA, supported by members and clubs of the Victorian Kyudo Association.

About the event

The  Australian Kyudo Association ('AKA') celebrates its 10th Anniversary in  2024 and is hosting the 2nd National Taikai and a 2-day Kyudo Seminar  across Friday, 9 August to Sunday, 11 August 2024. The event is hosted  by the AKA, supported by the members and clubs of the Victorian Kyudo Association.

The Seminar and Taikai is open to all current financial members of  Australian Kyudo Association, and members of affiliated and associated  associations of the International Kyudo Federation ('IKYF'), with a  minimum experience level of 6 months of regular practice.

Please note that the event is not open to anyone who belongs to, or  is associated with a community that has any relationship with the Dai  Nippon Kyudo Kai ('DNKK').

The AKA is honored to announce that multiple sensei have generously given their time to make the long travel down to Melbourne, Australia to run the seminar.

Event Details

  • Pricing: $300 for 3 days / $240 for 2 days / $130 for 1 day / $20 for dinner
  • Friday, 9 August 2024 10:00am - 6:00pm: National Taikai
  • Saturday, 10 August 2024 - Sunday, 11 August 2024 9:00am - 5:00pm: National Seminar

Free practice is available to event attendees at the venue after  event ends (ie. Friday 6:00pm - 10:30pm, Saturday 5:00pm - 8:30pm,  Sunday 5:00pm - 7:00pm).
